  40. COMMENTS AND TIPS:
  41.  
  42.    EuroGeo includes most European countries and surrounding nations.  We
  43. believe that including nations that border Europe, such as Turkey,
  44. Morocco, Russia, etc, help give a little better understanding of Europe.

  46.    This program was written during late 1996 and early 1997.  Any changes
  47. in any borders after January, 1997 will not be shown in EuroGeo.  We will
  48. try to keep new versions available as nations' borders change.  In
  49. particular, at this time there are quite a few potential changes in
  50. Southeastern Europe with Yugoslavia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, etc,
  51. and there are also potential changes in and around the UK.  We plan to
  52. keep pace with these changes, and will release updates when major or
  53. permanent changes are made.

  55.    Any requests for other continents will be considered.  We plan to do
  56. all continents, however precedence will be given to the continents that
  57. most people request.  If there is a certain continent that you would like
  58. to see done, please email me with your request.

  60.    We apologize for leaving out some small countries, such as Andorra,
  61. Liechtenstein and San Marino.  You will see that Andorra actually exists
  62. on the map, but it is not enabled.  We found these nations to be too small
  63. to identify with a mouse (Liechtenstein was 1 pixel in an early version of
  64. the program).  We acknowledge these countries, and we ask that people take
  65. the time to find them on a printed map, however adding them to EuroGeo
  66. added a level of complexity to the program that seemed excessive at the
  67. time.

  69.    EuroGeo should be relatively simple to use.  We recommend that you
  70. switch to "teach me" mode your first time.  EuroGeo will keep track of the
  71. nations that you most commonly miss, and stores your percentage correct
  72. for the last 10 games on the "Stats" screen.  All personal statistics can 
  73. be cleared with the "Clear Stats" button in the Stats screen.

  75.    In the list of countries that you missed during the Country Quiz, you
  76. can click on any country in the list to find out where it is and it's 
  77. capital.  This can also be done from the Statistics screen, which will
  78. show a list of every country missed since the last time the stats were
  79. cleared.

  81.    There are no known bugs as of this date.  EuroGeo was written with a
  82. bare minimum of resources in attempts to keep it small, fast and
  83. compatible.  No external libraries aside from the Visual Basic runtime
  84. library were used.  We believe the absence of glamorous DLLs has not
  85. detracted from the usability and functionality of this program.  Every
  86. attempt has been made to ensure that it runs quickly and cooperatively. 
  87. If you have found otherwise, please contact us whether or not you have
  88. registered.  Bug reports are accepted from anyone.  Bug fixes are given a
  89. priority to registered users.
